About Pembroke Pines Concrete Contractors

Pembroke Pines Concrete Contractors builds and fixes the concrete around South Broward homes. That means driveways, back patios, stamped entries, pool decks, equipment and shed pads, and repair of slabs that have cracked, sunk or worn thin.

Our focus comes from the age of the housing. Point2Homes' summary of Census survey data puts the median Pembroke Pines home at 1992, and 36.1% of homes here date from the 1990s. HomeGuide expects a concrete driveway to last about 30 years, or 40 and more with good materials and upkeep. A lot of the city's original flatwork has reached that point, so a big part of every visit is sorting out which slabs can be saved and which should come out.

Before anything is poured

We come to the property, measure, and watch how water leaves the lot, because on ground this flat drainage decides how long a slab lasts. The quote you get breaks out each piece of the job on its own line: removal, base rock, thickness, steel, finish, sealer and the total. If a permit or HOA sign-off is likely, we say so on the quote and explain what the paperwork asks for.

On pour day and after

In the rainy months we start early and keep plastic on site in case a storm cell builds before finishing is done. Joints are laid out before the pour and cut on time, and the new slab is kept damp while it gains strength. Before we leave, you get dates for foot traffic, cars and sealing. If the scope has to change once the old concrete is out, the change and its price go to you in writing first.

Some slab problems are not concrete problems. A leak under the slab or water coming off a neighbor's yard will undo a repair, and we tell you that before you pay for one.
